I did like this book & I didn't want it to end. My favorite part was how Vlad & Leila meet via telepathic link. It was so unusually it hooked me from the get go. The thing I felt lacking was Vlad's affections toward Leila. It's seems to me that he could take or leave her; as if she's not special & is replaceable. Anyway, this is the beginning of a series, so will see if this improves as the story progresses. If not, I'm at least getting a full, action-packed read.
